THE PROPOSED WORKFLOW

Start with one thing your website must do.

Choose an outcome, follow the visitor path, and let the Familiar explain what SiteSigil can verify. You can begin without knowing the technical terms.

HOW IT IS INTENDED TO WORK

One clear path, then a deeper view.

Protect a website change with context and a recovery point

Choose a promise

Tell SiteSigil what matters: a booking, a purchase, a useful answer, or a way to reach you. Start with one journey.

Trace the journey

See the links and images the page is known to use. The Familiar is designed to describe each finding in plain language.

Protect the next change

Before changing an image, look up where it is known to be used. SiteSigil is designed to keep the original.

IN DEVELOPMENT

Guidance that grows with you.

The Familiar guides a website owner along a connected visitor path

The Familiar is the guide inside SiteSigil. It is designed to suggest one next step at a time in plain words, and you can choose a simpler view or one with more technical detail.

For example: choose “Visitors can contact me.” SiteSigil is designed to check that the page is published and to look for a way to make contact in its saved content. It says what it could not confirm, such as whether a form actually sends. You can save a Second Door, an alternate page for the same task; it is a saved note, not an automatic fallback. The exact checks and screens will be verified as the plugin is built.

Explore what the companion could become.

SiteSigil is in development and is not available to download yet. These pages show the intended direction, and exact checks and interface details will be verified as the plugin takes shape.
